The Convergence Tour
The cost of bringing in experienced church consultants, speakers, and trainers is climbing ever higher, and yet church leaders in the mid-sized and smaller churches are faced with what seems to be insurmountable obstacles in reaching their communities for Christ. The need for cutting-edge training has never been higher and it seems the available funds have never been more scarce. Tom Bandy, Bill Easum, and Bill Tenny-Brittian are committed to making it possible for churches of every size to get the tools, resources, and training necessary to thrive in the changing cultural clime—even in the face of shrinking judicatory budgets.
To that end, we're making arrangements for another Summit Series in 2007–2008 and want to make this available for your church leaders. This Convergence Tour is different than the ones we've offered in the past. We've designed this tour as an event that not only develops and trains church leaders, but provides badly needed funds for your church development team as well.
What we're proposing is to piggyback on one of your already scheduled non-training event, such as a General Meeting, Annual Conference, or another regional, area, or district gathering. Members of the Easum Bandy team would provide leadership development training on the day before and perhaps on the morning of the event as well. We would fully fund the event through participant registrations. We ask that the judicatory collect the registrations, but in return, you would retain 20% of the registration fees that you could use for future church and leadership development.
Because the EBA 2007–2008 schedule is already filling up, we would encourage you to contact Susan Williams in our offices to reserve a date or multiple dates for these events.
