How We Can Partner with You
EBA has successfully partnered with national and middle judicatories to train staff in congregational renewal, church planting, adult faith formation, and leadership training. Single events and long-term partnerships are possible.
Here are some of the models that have worked so well:
- An 18-month cycle of coaching for selected congregational teams.
The regional denominational officer handpicks 5-6 congregations that seem ready for a significant change in mission direction. These congregations choose a team of 6-7 congregational leaders. These 30-50 leaders covenant for an 18-month cycle of training with consultants and judicatory leaders, including five retreats (topics include "The Emerging Mission Field", "Thriving Church Systems", "Conflict Resolution", "Adult Faith Formation and Leadership Development", and "Next Steps on the Journey"). The entire 18-month cycle is linked by a continuous coaching, exclusive access forum through EBA and monitored by Tom or Bill. - Training regional church vitalization consultants.
The middle judicatory selects 30-50 key leaders (lay or clergy) committed to three training retreats in the systems theory of "Kicking Habits" and the consultation tools of vision discernment, ministry audit, or congregational mission assessment. These leaders would be deployed to conduct their own consultations, but link together through an exclusive on-line forum monitored by Bill or Tom for continuous coaching. A follow-up retreat would bring the trainees together again after a year of experience. - "Three Track" coaching for congregations of the region.
EBA would deploy all of its associates to help the judicatory sort congregations using the "Three Track" model described on our website. Each congregation would complete a Ministry Audit or Congregational Mission Assessment, and then cluster with churches of similar context for mutual mentoring. Each "track" is linked through an on-line forum monitored by a member of the EBA team for continuous coaching lasting one year.
We can customize consultation partnerships to address your unique cross-cultural and contextual needs.
