Endorsements for Tom Bandy

Since Tom Bandy's visit, we have made a staff change to aline better with our Mission Statement, hired a part time church member to lead us through 40 Days of Purpose which has 32 small groups with around 220 people involved, hired a part time Parish Associate to read Bandy's report five times and listen to tapes of Bandy's presentations five times and read every book Bandy has written, and map out and oversee an implementation strategy with Staff and Session. We are still making changes in worship services based on Tom's recommendations, and we have entered into contract to sell four acres and eliminate our 1.3 million dollar debt.

The need for clarity in the church has never been more critical since there are so many competing voices in our culture. Tom Bandy is one of the few consultants who is able to lead the church in a process that results in not only clarity, but a renewed passion for the mission of the church of Jesus Christ. Tom has presented workshops in the North Alabama Conference for several years and he was the clear choice for us when we needed to evaluate our Vision Statement and the effectiveness of our conference structure in fulfilling that vision. Tom's intuitive ability to zero in on the issues and his insight into organizational processes have guided us to a greater understanding of what we need to do next to become a more effective part of the Kingdom of God in North Alabama.
