- The best time management tool is being clear in my mission, vision and values. I keep asking my self questions like: Will this help people meet, know and serve Jesus? Will this provide a warm, welcoming environment in which people can hear, consider and respond to Jesus? Will this put people in the seats or help bring them back? Laser-like focus on the 20% of things that will bring 80% of the results I am looking for has been key.
- Wayne Cordeiro has a workbook entitled "Time Management for Leaders" that is first rate. You can get it through the New Hope Resources folks at http://www.enewhope.org
- My advice would be to go to www.davidco.com and check out everything that David Allen says. Then buy his Managing Actions and Projects tapes and put them into practice. I have read all the Covey and been to Franklin training, but David Allen's ideas are the best for actually doing something about all the stuff you have to do.
