The United Methodist General Council on Finance and Administration has excellent information on this subject. And you don't have to be UM to use it! Find GCFA at www.gcfa.org. When on the site, choose "pastors" on the left hand side, then choose "tax information." It has information for both pastors and non-ordained local church employees. Information about housing (allowances and parsonages), about auto expenses (both allowances and reimbursements), about accountable reimbursement plans, etc. etc. etc. A wealth of information! Free! And worthwhile!
