Online Communities

It is my belief that online communities will be one of the primary challenges to the church in the future. Already a new form of community is emerging that often appears to be more loving and caring than many mainline congregations.
- The online community develops its own personality.
- Online communities will organize face to face meetings on their own. We have watched our online communities work hard at having face to face gatherings wherever they might be around the country. it is a false assumption that online communities aren't really communities.
- It is a false assumption that online communities are cold and shallow. Case in point was the death of one of our members infant son. Many members came to his aid on line and in person.
