Making an Authentic and Effective Leader

For the week of August 09, 2004

The Making of an Authentic and Effective Leader

Convergence 2004 - Global Positioning for the Soul

By: Bill Easum

My studies have shown that almost all authentic and effective leadership are the result of the convergence of four ingredients – their call, preferred leadership style, the context in which they find themselves or choose to be in, and skill set. When all four of the ingredients converge within the ministry of a person, authentic and effective leadership always emerges. Think of these four ingredients as waypoints in your Internal Guidance System that guides your way through the uncharted jungles of our time.
